AACE INTERNATIONAL WELCOMES NEW CEO & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Michael T. Kobylka II, MBA, CAE, became the new Executive Director and CEO for AACE International, the leading organization for the advancement of project controls and the cost management profession, based in Fairmont, WV. Link to www.aacei.org

In his new leadership role, Kobylka will lead AACE International’s mission to provide education, certification, and networking opportunities for professionals in the field. AACE International is the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering. He also will expand AACE International’s outreach, improve member engagement, and strengthen the organization’s position as the authoritative voice in the industry.

Kobylka most recently served as the Director of Leadership, Governance, and Strategy for the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC), which represents more than 23,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms across 67 chapters.

Kobylka holds a BA in Political Science from John Carroll University and an MBA from Ashland University. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence in the association management field.

The national search for a new Executive Director/CEO was led by AACE International leadership in partnership with Tuft & Associates’ President Jill Christie and Search Consultant Dan Borschke.
