The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), Irving, TX, has named LaVerne Davis, MSA, as its Chief Financial Officer, effective April 11. With 50,000 members, the AARC is the only professional society for respiratory therapists in hospitals and home care companies, and for others interested in quality respiratory care.
The national search for AARC’s CFO was led by Tuft & Associates’ Consultant Mary McMahon.
Davis was most recently the Vice President of Finance and Administration for the American Fire Sprinkler Association, where she also served as Vice President for AFSA’s Center for Life Safety Education. She was CFO for Amazon Outreach, Inc., and the Owner, President & CEO of Medical Billing Management.
She holds a Master of Accounting/Business from The University of North Texas and is a Certified IT Programmer.
