Director of Communications & Engagement, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians

Alexandra Bradley joined the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), Arlington Heights, IL, in 2019 as Director of Communications and Engagement.

Previously, Bradley was Senior Marketing Manager for the Council for Advancement & Support of Education (CASE).

Says Bradley, “Everyone knows what an MD is, but few can explain what it means to be a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Our members go through the same rigorous training and certification as medical doctors, but recognition for the osteopathic profession has a long way to go. I’m looking forward to countless opportunities to support the membership and increase engagement through strategic communications, but heightening public awareness around the value and esteem of osteopathic family medicine is my ultimate long-term goal.”

Bradley adds that in order to grow further in her role and career, “I need to invest in myself.” She plans to begin a Master of Science in Communication program in fall 2020.

ABOUT TUFT: “In working with recruiting firms as a candidate, it’s easy to feel like you’re just a number. This was not the case with Karen Dunn Caspers and Tuft & Associates. While they represented my organization, I felt like they were invested in me. Karen was supportive, candid, and an excellent resource throughout the entire process.

“I have spent more than 10 years in the association space—building my resume, developing my skills, and enhancing my expertise for an opportunity like this. This is the role I’ve spent my career working toward—and Tuft helped me get here.”
