Director of Professional Development, American Society of Safety Professionals

Chris Ballman started as Director of Professional Development at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), Park Ridge, IL, in April 2019.

Ballman’s previous positions included serving as Senior Director at SmithBucklin (2013-2019) and Vice President & Recruiter at JP Morgan Chase (2006-2009).

At ASSP, Ballman has reconfigured his team to better align positions with the strengths of specific team members. Currently, he is in the midst of overhauling ASSP’s online offerings and putting together an updated strategic educational initiative to better serve ASSP members.
