Dean, Goldfarb School of Nursing, and President, Barnes-Jewish College
Nancy Ridenour, PhD, APRN, BC, FAAN, became Dean of Goldfarb School of Nursing and President of Barnes-Jewish College, St. Louis, in 2017.
Under Ridenour’s leadership, the College is further enhancing its commitment to fostering the best in faculty, staff, and students, research, technology, curriculum, and service while continuing to help exceptional people become exceptional nurses.
Previously, Ridenour was Dean and Professor at the University of New Mexico College of Nursing. She also held senior leadership roles at Illinois State University College of Nursing in Normal, Illinois, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in Lubbock, Texas. In addition to leadership and teaching positions, she also has many years of clinical practice appointment experience with academic and healthcare institutions.
Established in 1902, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College is an independent single-purpose college with a strong tradition of educating health care professionals in St. Louis. It is located on the campus of Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with a site at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
